The Story Begins...

After a year of waiting, God has finally lead us to a transistion from life on a farm in the mid-west, to a new home in small-town Florida. Beginning May 2014.

He made the town, and even the specific house, very clear. We now have begun the process of restoring our large, previously abandoned, 100 year old house and half acre yard, for the purpose of ministry. It seems like an impossible task at times, but we are learning so much about God's delight to do impossible things. (Nothing is impossible with Him!) If it made sense from a human perspective, He wouldn't get the glory for it, so we are plunging ahead in this journey of trusting that He will be faithful to complete what He has begun.

He is teaching us so much about His heart to restore. He truly makes all things new, and we want that to be the statement of our home and lives to a watching world.

"Thus saith the Lord God; In the day that I shall have cleansed your from all you iniquities
I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.
And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.
And they shall say, "This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.
Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places,
and plant that that was desolate:
I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it."
Ezekiel 36:33-36
